Supporting JFJ

Jill’s Fundraising Journey doesn’t receive any sort of financial help from the Government or any other local schemes. Instead, we rely on the kindness of strangers and third-party donations to keep the charity going. It costs around £2,000 a month to keep the charity operating, offering free holidays and raising awareness, and to achieve this we need your help!

Here are just a few ideas of ways you could help support Jill’s Fundraising Journey:

Sponsored Events

Tandem Skydive

Are you an adrenaline junkie? Always wanted to do a skydive or a fire walk? Doing a marathon or tough mudder? Why not raise money for a good cause and tick something off your bucket list? Sponsored events are a fantastic way of supporting the charity, and in the past we’ve had people do tough mudders, abseiling, sky diving and more to raise money for Jill’s Fundraising Journey. If you have an idea for a sponsored event you would like to do, please just get in touch.

Fundraising Events

If you’re more of a baker than a runner, love a bit of bring and buy, or you’re a fantastic quiz master, why not make your next event a fundraising event? Hosting a bake sale at your workplace, organising a quiz at the local pub or even setting up a music festival are all fantastic ways to raise money for Jill’s Fundraising Journey. The team are always happy to help you plan and run a fundraising event, so just get in touch if you would like some support.

Volunteering

Money isn’t the only resource that can help us at Jill’s Fundraising Journey. If you would rather volunteer your time, we would love to have you! We’re always looking for volunteers to support the charity, either on an ad-hoc for events or on a regular basis, you will always be welcome with us.

So, if you’re handy at data processing, a whizz on social media or great at shaking a bucket, donating a few hours of your time would be a huge help.

Donations

If you would like to donate directly to Jill’s Fundraising Journey, you can do this in a few ways. You can click the donate button at the top of our website, make a direct bank transfer or PayPal donation (contact us for the information), or even just pop your change into one of our collection buckets.

We are hugely grateful for any donation you could make, whether it’s £1 or £100. And for just £200 you could give a family affected by cancer a holiday away from it all, and a chance to make some treasured memories together.

Play The Lottery

Yes, really! Jill’s Fundraising Journey are honoured to be a part of both the Hart Lottery and the Rushmoor Community Lottery as charity partners. If you choose us as your charity, we will receive 50% of every ticket you buy, without you paying any extra! Each lottery sells tickets for just £1, and if you bought just one ticket a month it would make a real difference to us.

A big part of our mission is spreading awareness, and this is another area we could use your help in! If you’re on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, giving us a follow and liking, sharing or interacting with our posts would be a huge support. If you share just one post, we have the opportunity to spread our message to hundreds of new people, and possibly save a life in the process. So give us a follow, and if you see something you like, hit the share button!

Of course, this list isn’t exclusive! There are a lot of different ways you can support Jill’s Fundraising Journey, and if you have an idea that could help us, we would love to hear from you. Just get in touch with one of our team members to discuss your idea and make it a reality.
