Welcome to Jill's Fundraising Journey

Jill's Fundraising Journey was set up in memory of Jill Goodrum, a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend, with aims to raise cancer awareness and to set up a holiday home to provide respite free of charge for those affected by cancer and their loved ones.

Over the last 4 years we have achieved so much more than this and have now finally opened up our holiday home, Jill's Place, to deserving families.

"Reach for the moon and dare to hope"

The Holiday Home 'Jill's Place'

We are offering short breaks (Mon-Fri and Fri-Mon) completely free of charge* to people that have been affected by a cancer diagnosis**, to try and help them to spend quality time with loved ones during times that are often fraught with worry and when finances might be pulled quite tight.

Jill's Place is lovely 6 berth caravan (one double room with ensuite, one twin room and a pull out double sofa bed in the lounge) located in the stunning setting of Hoburne Naish holiday Park in New Milton. With both the New Forest and the beach on its doorstep (just a 60sec walk from the caravan!), it is the perfect place to get away for a break.

The holiday park has some great facilities including swimming pools, playgrounds, mini golf, gym, shop, bars and restaurants, indoor soft play, themed and non-themed events all year round... the majority of which are free of charge while having a holiday in Jill's Place as we pay the site membership fees too!***

*A small damages deposit is required prior to arrival date, refundable upon inspection after departure. Travel to the holiday home is not covered by Jill's Fundraising Journey.
**Diagnosis must be current, holidays are not being offered at present to those in remission or following the passing of a loved one.
***Some activities are chargeable by the park and not covered by the site membership.

Do you play the lottery? We have joined up to a new scheme - Hart Lottery! Tickets cost just £1, with 50% coming directly to us and a further 10% to other local good causes. The chances of winning are higher than both the National Lottery and the Health Lottery at 1 on 50 - with the top prize being £25,000!!! Sounds good to me  😀

Rusmoor Lottery

The Rushmoor Lottery works in much the same way as the Hart Lottery above with each ticket costing £1 per week and the top prize being £25,000! If you choose us as your cause then we will receive 50% of every ticket you buy, with another 10% going to other local causes.
