Jill’s Fundraising Journey Gift Shop
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Jill’s Fundraising Journey online gift shop. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. About Us
Jill’s Fundraising Journey is a registered charity supporting families affected by cancer through complimentary respite breaks.

2. Ordering
Orders are subject to availability.
After placing an order, you will receive confirmation by email. Acceptance of your order takes place when your item has been dispatched.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order if:

an item is unavailable
-
payment cannot be processed
-
there is a pricing error
-
we suspect fraudulent activity
If this happens, any payment received will be refunded.
As a small charity-run shop, orders may be packed and dispatched by volunteers. We appreciate your understanding if occasional delays occur during busy periods.

3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£).
Payment must be received in full before dispatch.
Where applicable, delivery charges will be shown at checkout.
We reserve the right to update prices at any time without prior notice.

4. Delivery
Orders are usually prepared and dispatched within 2–3 working days of purchase unless a preferred posting date has been selected at checkout.
Where customers select a preferred posting date, we will make reasonable efforts to dispatch on that date but cannot guarantee delivery by a specific deadline.
Orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48. Delivery normally takes approximately 2 working days from the date of dispatch, but this timeframe is not guaranteed and remains subject to Royal Mail services.
Customers ordering items for a specific occasion should allow additional time for delivery where possible.
We are responsible for your order until it has been delivered to the address provided at checkout.
If your order does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us and we will investigate with the delivery provider.
If an order is confirmed as lost in transit by the delivery provider, we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. We may ask customers to allow reasonable time for tracking investigations before issuing a replacement or refund.
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
Free Delivery Offer
We may offer free delivery on orders over a specified value, as shown at checkout.
Where items from a qualifying order are returned and the remaining order value falls below the free delivery threshold, we reserve the right to deduct the applicable delivery charge from any refund issued.
Free delivery offers apply to UK delivery addresses only and may be withdrawn or amended at any time.
Free delivery applies to standard Royal Mail delivery only unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Local Delivery (Farnborough and Surrounding Area)
Local delivery may be available within approximately 6 km of Farnborough, as shown at checkout.
Local deliveries are usually completed within 2–3 working days of dispatch. We will contact you if additional arrangements are needed.
Delivery is considered complete once the order has been delivered to the address provided at checkout.
Local deliveries may be completed by volunteers on behalf of Jill’s Fundraising Journey.
Orders Sent Directly as Gifts
Where items are sent directly to a recipient at the customer’s request, the delivery address provided at checkout will be treated as the delivery address for the purposes of fulfilment.
No pricing information is included in parcels sent directly as gifts unless specifically requested.
Once delivery has been completed to the address supplied, the order is considered fulfilled.
Customers are responsible for ensuring recipient details are accurate at the time of ordering. We cannot accept responsibility for delivery issues resulting from incorrect address information provided at checkout.

5. Returns & Cancellations
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
You then have a further 14 days to return the item(s).
Returned items must be:

unused
-
in original condition
-
in original packaging where possible
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods.
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened:
-
essential oils
-
incense
-
candles (once used)
This does not affect your statutory rights if items are faulty.

6. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.
You may be entitled to:

replacement
-
repair
-
refund
in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Where possible, we may ask for photographs to help resolve the issue quickly.

7. Essential Oils
Essential oils are supplied for external use only unless clearly stated otherwise.
They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.
Always keep essential oils away from children and pets.
8. Candle Safety
Candles must never be left unattended when lit.
Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
Always place candles on a suitable heat-resistant surface.
9. Crystals and Wellbeing Items
Crystals and related wellbeing items are sold as decorative or personal interest products only and are not intended as medical treatment or health advice.
10. Occasion Cards
Occasion card artwork created by Jill’s Fundraising Journey remains the intellectual property of the charity and may not be reproduced without permission.
Personalised Occasion Card Multi-packs
Customers may select any five occasion cards as part of our multi-card pack offer, subject to availability.
Our occasion card multi-pack offer allows customers to select any five available card designs at a discounted bundle price (20% saving compared to individual purchase).
All card selections are subject to availability at the time of packing.
If a selected design becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you to request an alternative selection. If we do not receive a response within a reasonable timeframe, we reserve the right to substitute a similar design of equal value.
Where a suitable replacement cannot be agreed, a partial refund for the unavailable item will be issued.
Occasion Card Handwritten Messages
Where customers request that a card be handwritten with a personalised message or sent directly to a named recipient, the item is treated as a personalised product.
Personalised items cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once preparation has begun unless they are faulty or incorrect.
Please ensure all spelling and message details are correct when placing your order, as we are unable to amend messages once written.
We reserve the right to decline requests containing inappropriate or offensive content.
Where a card is written and dispatched directly to a recipient, preparation of the personalised item begins shortly after the order is received.

11. E-Gift Cards
E-gift cards are delivered electronically to the email address provided at checkout.
E-gift cards:

are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase

may be used in the online gift shop
-
may be used towards paid holiday bookings
-
cannot be used towards Security & Booking Deposits
-
cannot be exchanged for cash
-
are non-refundable
-
cannot be replaced if lost or expired
-
are treated as digital products. Once issued, cancellation rights no longer apply.

are intended for use by the named recipient but may be transferred if required.
E-gift cards are normally issued shortly after purchase. If you do not receive your e-gift card within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us.
12. Self-Published Book Purchases
Books purchased via links to Amazon are fulfilled directly by Amazon.
These purchases are subject to Amazon’s own delivery, returns, and refund policies, not those of Jill’s Fundraising Journey.
13. Product Descriptions
We aim to ensure all product descriptions and images are accurate. However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on screen settings and supplier variations.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jill’s Fundraising Journey shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of products purchased through our shop.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Shop Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in place at the time of purchase will apply to your order.
