Equality, Diversion & Inclusion Statement

Jill’s Fundraising Journey is committed to providing fair and inclusive access to our services and treating everyone with dignity and respect.

We aim to ensure that our charity-supported holidays are allocated in a way that is transparent, equitable, and sensitive to individual circumstances.

1. Our Commitment

We do not discriminate on the basis of:

  • age

  • disability

  • gender identity

  • marital status

  • pregnancy or maternity

  • race or ethnicity

  • religion or belief

  • sex

  • sexual orientation

  • socio-economic background

We are committed to making decisions fairly and consistently.

2. Access to Charity-Supported Holidays

Our holidays are intended to support families affected by cancer where a member of the household has a current cancer diagnosis.

Because availability is limited, allocation decisions consider:

  • eligibility criteria

  • family circumstances

  • current availability

  • programme capacity

  • fairness across applicants

Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee a stay.

Further information about eligibility and allocation is available in our Allocation Principles Statement and Charity Holiday Terms & Conditions.

3. Respect and Inclusion

We aim to:

  • treat all applicants respectfully

  • communicate clearly and compassionately

  • recognise different family situations

  • support families from a wide range of backgrounds

  • ensure fair decision-making processes

4. Continuous Improvement

We review our allocation approach regularly to ensure it remains fair and inclusive.

Feedback is welcomed and helps us improve our processes.

5. Raising Concerns

If you believe you have been treated unfairly, please contact us using our Complaints Policy.

6. Policy Review

This statement is reviewed annually by the trustees of Jill’s Fundraising Journey.
